On Monday evening, April 23, the Silberman School of Social Work proudly launched its new Silberman Center for Sexuality and Gender (SCSG) with an important forum, Sexuality and Gender in Social Work Contexts. Inaugural SCSG Director, Professor S. J. Dodd moderated a discussion between social work leaders who are committed to integrating sexuality and gender in their practice – Sarah Mikhail, Margaret Salisu, Toni Wilson, and Jesse Kahn. More than 80 people including many SSSW students, faculty, and staff came together to be part of this conversation and celebrate the new Center.
